I had forgotten myself for many years until recently. The reason is a combination of things: survival mode, bad habits, a high turnover in my love life, a series of strange work situations. I mean I always remained and even excelled but was never quite sure why or if I was doing things authentically. I think I was being the best I could with where I was at but always suspected I could be better, at everything. Slowing down is a strange thing for me, even uncomfortable but boy has it made me evolve. I’m alone a lot and I’ve gotten to know myself again. Im losing inhibitions and getting sorta reclusive at the same time. I work on my shop, ongoing projects and record. Spend the evenings with my man. And after a year away from the hustle and bustle I’m remembering what I need to be happy. It’s not too much. (at Tucson, Arizona)
